Bengaluru: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced a significant recruitment drive for the position of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ through its Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB). A B.E./B.Tech. degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 on a 10-point scale.

Pay Scale and Emoluments:
Selected candidates will be appointed at Level 10 of the pay matrix, with a basic pay of ₹56,100 per month. In addition to the basic pay, appointees will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) as per the prevailing government norms.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be a two-stage process:
Written Test: All eligible applicants will be required to appear for a written test that will assess their technical knowledge and aptitude.
Interview: Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview. The shortlisting ratio will be 1:5, meaning for every vacancy, five candidates will be called for the interview.
The final selection will be based on a combined score, with 50% weightage given to the written test marks and 50% to the interview performance.
