Selection Procedure & Examination Structure
The process comprises Preliminary Examination (Phase I), Main Examination (Phase II), and Interview (Phase III), followed by a pre-recruitment medical examination.
- Phase-I marks are not counted for final merit; Phase-II (Mains) + Interview decide the final merit.
- Sectional and aggregate cut-offs apply in both Prelims and Mains.
- Specified English papers are qualifying in nature and are not counted for ranking.
- Shortlisting ratios: to Mains ≈ 20× vacancies; to Interview ≈ 3× vacancies.
