1. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed B.E / B.Tech. Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Chemical / Environmental Engineering of a recognized University in India or AMIE (India) Civil Examination.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 44 years as on 01/07/2026. Standard age relaxations apply (5 Years for SC/ST/BC/EWS, 10 Years for PwBD).
2. Scheme of Examination & Exam Pattern
The selection process is based purely on a Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) followed by a qualifying Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).

Unlike standard core-specific exams, Paper II is a Common Subject for all eligible branches (Civil/Mech/Chem). The syllabus heavily focuses on Environmental Engineering and core fundamentals:

Candidates shortlisted from the written exam must pass a practical Computer Proficiency Test. It carries 100 marks (60 Minutes duration) but is strictly qualifying in nature (Minimum qualifying marks: OC-40, BC-35, SC/ST/PwBD-30). It involves testing typing speed, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint practical tasks.

- All candidates must first complete their One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the official APPSC Portal.
- Application Fee: Rs. 250/- (Processing Fee) + Rs. 80/- (Examination Fee). *SC, ST, BC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the Rs. 80/- Examination fee.
